It is strange that a debate like this comes up at this stage . Of course it should have been taught by planners about few decades back . infact medicine and engineering had been placed at loggerheads instead of complimenting eacxh other .If doctors can learn the corporate intellect and the engineers learn the human touch in their deliberations things would turn out tro be much better . I guess planners would do a great deal of favour by trying to device new methods to streamline education in India as a whole and medicine and engineering are just subjects in the entire cogwhel of learning .
